Exton, PA – February 25, 2011 – Calling all future entrepreneurs! Through exciting games and activities, kids will uncover intriguing careers, learn about people who have risen to the tops of their fields and find out how they achieved their success. The event is ideally suited for 2nd to 6th grade students. Parents and teachers are invited.

Residents of Downingtown, the University of Pittsburgh SIFE students are excited to bring their Biz Kidz project back to their hometown. The team teaches a series of four basic lessons: Following Dreams, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Financial Skills.

“The Biz Kidz project teaches children valuable business concepts, and teaming up with Girls Know How is a perfect match to encourage kids to follow their dreams,” says Stephanie Campbell, sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh and founder and President of the university’s SIFE team.

“It is a great opportunity to take what we have learned in the classroom and from working with our Business Advisory Board and bring it back to Downingtown,” says Blake Carroll, freshman and PITT SIFE Member. Carroll and Campbell are graduates of Downingtown High School West.
